The menu is varied, nutritional and can be amended to suit dietary needs of individual children. Parents input into the menu is encouraged and any suggestions for meals will be incorporated into the menu whenever possible. The nursery caters for dietary needs.
The nursery has an acre of secluded countryside, surrounded by high hedges for privacy, it is close to Worstead station and the historic village of Worstead. Within the grounds there are secure fenced play areas.
All rooms have their own dedicated play area attached to each room to allow free flow play for the children. In addition all rooms have access to a large all weather surface area, a large garden area containing an all weather sand pit and climbing frame with safety flooring, with an area for planting and growing. This area leads onto a fenced woodland area, being remodeled to house a sensory area, a wet land habitat, a bird watching hide and trees with rope and tyre swings.
The Jellyfish room
A large area within the nursery that is currently being used as a space for the older children in the setting as well as holiday club. This room was made possible through the national lottery “Awards for all” program and was officially opened in June 2008 by Mr Norman Lamb MP.
The nursery has its own administration staff, Kerry, and the office is occupied on most days should parents have any concerns or inquiries of a financial nature. We pride ourselves on being flexible and approachable, as a charity our aim is to provide the best and most flexible childcare at reasonable cost, with that in mind the nursery supports assisted places for children in the surrounding parishes, further details of the scheme on request. The nursery accepts most voucher scheme and the Tax fund account to enable parents to spread the cost of childcare.
